You may want to use a field not listed under the Search(able) Field options or you might want to search multiple fields for specific text. You can do this by typing in Custom Field(s), as is seen in some of the examples in the Search Options/Glossary section. You may also choose to use a combination of custom fields and Refine Panel options to perform your search. Learn more in the Search Strategies tutorial.
Below are the custom fields you can use within the Literature dataset. For fields with no display name, this indicates that you’ll need to use a custom field to limit your results. Be sure to enter the custom field in its exact form, as shown below.
For fields that are numeric, you can search for a range of values using a syntax such as this:
rcr:[2 TO 3]
If you wish to search for multiple criteria in the same field, you can do so using a capitalized OR between the criteria:
linkedStubs.publicgrants.adminIcLong:(NIA OR NHLBI)
