The Refine Filters panel is a way to drill down or filter your results. As a general rule, when you perform a search, all relevant data will be reflected in your results. This includes all types of literature. In order to limit results to certain records, you can make selections in the refine panel. Use the directions below to apply filters from the refine panel.

Type in a year range, use the slider, or select the check boxes adjacent to the (calendar) years of interest and hit the Apply button. This will automatically filter your results and produce a breadcrumb:
Note: If you do not wish to search for a year range, but instead non-consecutive years, you can check individual years in the list, or type these in the search bar and use the searchable fields or perform a search using the custom year field for this dataset.
For the above (non-date) filters, check the options of interest, select Include or Exclude, then hit Apply. This will automatically filter your results and produce a breadcrumb:
