This functionality allows you to separate multi-valued data within the same field, such as multiple conditions for a record (grant, literature or clinical trial), or the linked literature to that grant record. The feature is called unwind, and it can be found in Advanced Export at the bottom of the Export screen of any iSearch dataset.
By default, unwind is not active. You can activate unwind by clicking on the toggle adjacent to "Advanced Export" at the bottom of the export window; the toggle for unwind will now turn green. Once you have activated unwind, the exportable fields above will have a similar toggle beside them, if they are available to unwind in your export. Note that the export window will also be a purple color once unwind is activated. Any fields/sections chosen to unwind will also turn green once you click on the toggle to unwind the field/section.
Note: It is important to be mindful of fields you choose to unwind on and their use cases. If you choose to unwind on multiple fields in the same export, it can create very large files. This may take time to download in the tool and depending on your personal device, may have additional delays.

Notice all linked literature PMIDs, and other related literature fields, for the single grant record are in one cell; the same applies to other fields with multiple values, such as the Conditions. When unwind is activated, you will have multiple rows for the same record, depending on how many values were in a single field, i.e. how many conditions or the linked PMIDs.
