The reason you see e.g. multiple Admin ICs when you search the Literature dataset (even when you filter on a specific one, e.g., DA) is because publications can be linked to multiple grants. You may filter to show literature linked to DA grants, but those publications may also be linked to grants from other ICs. See this example of five publications:
| Publication | Linked Grant | Admin IC |
| Publication 1 | Grant 1 | DA |
| Publication 2 | Grant 2 | GM |
| Publication 3 | Grant 1 | DA |
| Publication 4 | Grant 3; Grant 4 | DA; GM |
| Publication 5 | Grant 5; Grant 6; Grant 7 | DA; GM; CA |
Filtering Literature by Admin IC: DA would give four results. Only Publication 2 (bolded) would be excluded as it is not linked to a DA grant. The filter screen for these filtered results would show DA, GM, and CA because the four publications are linked to grants from those three ICs. Learn more about the Admin IC acronyms.
