Predicted Breakthroughs in Biomedicine
OPA recently developed and validated an AI algorithm that scans more than 35 million publications and detects topics predicted to produce a transformative breakthrough in biomedicine within the next two to twelve years (patent pending).
In the predicted breakthrough videos, you see representations of the topic from the earliest time research began to the realization of the breakthrough, and clinical impact of the topic. The predicted breakthrough shown on the landing page aligns with a health observance for that month. Learn more about how to interpret the landing page video here. In addition, there are several other historical predicted breakthroughs which are detailed here.
